Complete Assembly and Disassembly
RT does full mechanical restorations including but not limited to inspection, restoration and replacement of suspension, steering, brakes, electrical and interior. Services not performed at our facility, such as engine and transmission rebuilds, are entrusted to reputable venders that work not only on our customers’ projects but ours too.

Bodywork and Paint
Our paint and bodywork is one of the things that separates us from other restorers. We pride ourselves in always paying meticulous attention to detail and never cutting corners. If metal needs to be replaced, it’s replaced. Body filler is used sparingly and only after necessary panels have been straightened. Lastly, all cars undergo a rigorous sanding process before entering the booth for its mirror finish.

Plastic Media Blasting
Plastic Media Blasting is a process similar to sandblasting. However, PMB uses ground-up plastic as the blasting medium in place of sand. Almost all of our restorations begin with this process, as it allows us to see the underlying condition of each vehicle right from the start. PMB is a process superior to sandblasting because plastic media creates less heat than sand. Instead of running into common sandblasting problems of panel etching, pitting and warping, PMB gently removes paint from sheet steel, aluminum, magnesium, plastics and fiberglass.

Customer Service
Each of our projects brings with it a unique set of circumstances based on the individual needs of our customers. During the restoration process, we keep the client continuously updated with our progress via phone calls, emails and pictures. If new issues arise, we immediately notify our customers of the details of the situation, along with a clear explanation of the available options before continuing along with the project.

RT Restorations opened its doors in 1994 as a plastic media blasting business.  After numerous customer inquiries regarding additional restoration services, we expanded our facility, hired additional help and began performing complete restorations.

Over the past 15 years, RT has established itself as quality restorer.  Our portfolio has grown to include 30+ Shelbys, Cobras, Jaguars, Corvettes, historic race cars and more.  Our services range from assembly, disassembly, bodywork and paint to plastic media blasting.
